Pacer kagiso Rabada, left arm spinner Aaron Phangiso and Seamer David Wiese got 2 wickets each for 28, 29 and 24 runs respectively and restrict the guests New Zealand had run 102 in 13th over with one wicket loss but at the end they lost eight wickets just for 151 runs.

Opener Hashim Amla did 48 score in 41 balls with 4 fours and a single six as South Africa reached their required target just before 13 balls left of their innings.
At the start of New Zealand Vs South Africa 1st T20I, South Africa won the toss and choose field first but they face a loss before start of a match when their captain Faf du Plessis, AB de villiars take charge of captaincy with Morne van Wyk added into the team as opener and wicket keeper.

Then again Hashim Amla participate in another two partnerships of 50 and 59 with AB De Villiers and Rilee Rossouw respectively, he played well until he turn the match in favor of South Africa.

De Villiers was the best as he scored 33 runs in just 21 balls and Rossouw was in danger mode and blast a runs of 38 runs in just 20 balls.
De Villiers Said “We started a bit slowly (with the ball), but the way we pulled it back was amazing. Credit to Aaron Phangiso, he slowed things down.”
The second and final T20 will be play at Centurion on Sunday before the sides meet in a three-match ODI series.
