Injured Dhawan out of Sri Lanka series
Colombo: Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan is out of the Sri Lanka with injury of hairline fracture on right hand, it’s the major loss of the tourist India.
29 year old Dhawan face injury during first test against Sri Lanka at Galle stadium Sri Lanka, where India lost first test match by 63 runs, now Sri Lanka lead the series by 1-0 in 3 match series.

Sara Oval in Colombo on Thursday and the final match at Sinhalese Sports Club in the Sri Lankan capital from August 28.
Team Management said that “He underwent tests that confirmed a hairline fracture in his hand. He would require four to six weeks to recover from the injury.”
Ravi Shastri who is team director said that it was ver unfortunate to lose a left hand in form batsman for the important test ahead.
Shastri said “Shikhar showed a lot of courage at Galle”. “That’s what I look for in a player. It is unfortunate to lose him.”
Still did not announce a replaced player on the place of Shikher Dhawan, injury of Dhawan left India in worrying situation where another opening batsman Lokesh Rahul was out on just for seven and five in first test match at Galle stadium.

Murali Vijay will be the first choice who missed first test due to hamstring injury but it is expected that he will recover this in time for the second match.
Cheteshwar Pujara top order batsman is also in the queue, even India already called all rounder Stuart Binny to join the team in Sri Lanka as the 16th player in the team before the non availability of Dhawan is confirmed.
Dhawan has scored 1,158 runs in 15 Tests at an average of 44.53, with four centuries.
